This is the very beginning of a painting of the Columbia, SC historic Tapp's Building. It's a good example of how I start with the lightest colors and then pile on the darker ones. (This is the opposite of how I work with oils and acrylics.) It will be interesting to see how it develops, but I'm excited. Good night!
