Karin Jurick's Different Strokes from Different Folks Challenge

The other day I stumbled upon Karin Jurick's Different Strokes from Different Folks Challenge and decided to give it a whirl. The challenge was for the beautiful streets of San Francisco. I've recently begun using a palette knife instead of brushes. I really like painting with the knife and I love it's textured effects, but I still need a little more practice (as you can see.) It was a nice little break from the usual South Carolina paintings.
